The Tale of the Magic Cat

Once upon a time, an old miller lived a happy and contented life with his three sons. Before he left this world, the miller left the mill to his eldest son, his donkey to his middle son, and the Cat to the youngest child. Although his youngest son did not make anyone sense this situation, he was very upset. Because according to him, it was impossible to make a living with the inheritance left to him. One day, he took the Cat, which he inherited, and took a look at it. Afterwards, he hugged the cat and thought, "What good can this cat do for me?" and stopped. At that moment, the cat jumped from the young man's lap and called out to him: "Have you never listened to The Tale of the Cat in Boots?" “No I didn't listen” “Then you are wrong in your opinion of me, sir. I can benefit you more than you think.” Said. The young man was quite surprised to see the cat talking. He stammered in surprise, “You! You will benefit me. So how will this work?" You get me a sack. But if you can bring a nice hat and a pair of red boots. I'll show you how, sir." The young man, who still could not get over his amazement, said to himself, "If this cat can talk, he knows something." He thought, and immediately accepted the cat's offer and fulfilled all his wishes. To the cat: "Let's see then, what are you going to do?" The cat standing in front of the mirror putting on the hat and the boots. He looked at himself proudly. Afterwards, he put a fresh carrot and lettuce in his sack and set off towards the forest. Reaching the forest, the Cat lowered the sack to the ground, leaving its mouth open, and hiding behind a tree. After a while, when a rabbit smelled fresh vegetables and went into the sack to eat the vegetables, our cat jumped out of its hiding place and tied the mouth of the sack tightly. However, he took the rabbit directly to the palace instead of its owner and told the guards at the gate that he wanted to meet with the king. Seeing the cat talking, the king's soldiers, bewildered, took the cat in boots before the king. The cat that appeared before the king: “Our High King. I brought you a gift from the Karabes prince that I have. The prince of Karabes has captured and sent that beautiful rabbit you saw for you, sir.” The presentation of the gift and the cat in boots was very pleasing to the king. After thanking him, the cat left the palace. The cat, who went hunting in the forest for a while, continued to take the animals he had caught to the king. Now the officials in the palace and the people of the palace had already started to talk about the generosity and modesty of the Karabes Prince. About Prince Karabes, who is wondering how he is every day, the king asked the cat in boots one day, "Is your master young?" The cat said, “Yes, sir. Our master is also very young and handsome.” “Well, is he well-off?” the King asked. The cat said, “Of course, sir, he has assets. It will be a great honor for him to welcome you to his castle if you are available one day.” He said and left the palace by asking permission. The king and queen were overjoyed to finally meet that mysterious prince. Queen: "If that prince is what the Cat said, my lord, he may well be a good wife for our daughter and a prince worthy of our kingdom." Said. The king nodded approvingly at the queen. After some time passed, one day the cat in boots learned that the King, Queen and Princess were going for a walk together. He said to himself, "This is it," and then said, "The day I have been waiting for has come," he clapped his hands together with a slight smile and immediately went to his owner and said to him, "Sir, come with me to the riverbank quickly. I'll explain the situation on the way. "Said. He took the owner's hand and ran to the river bank. The young man still did not understand what was going on. But always "The cat knows what he's doing." He continued to do exactly what he said because he thought. The young man said to the Cat: "But you still haven't told us why we're here." he asked. The cat said, “We're here to cool off and swim, sir. There's no time, trust me." The young man said, “Well, I have never swam in my life and I don't know how to swim either.” The cat said, “This is better, please take off your clothes and enter the river immediately. I know what I'm doing, sir. You will not regret." Desperate, the young man continued to do exactly what the cat said and took off his clothes and entered the shallow part of the river. After hiding his owner's worn-out clothes in the bushes, Red Boots stopped the king's car, which was approaching the riverbank, and said to the king in a haste, "Help, please! My lord, Prince Karabes is about to drown…” The king immediately ordered his soldiers to save the young man. While the soldiers were rescuing the Karabe, the cat was telling the king that while his master was swimming, his clothes were stolen by bandits.
